BIOSTATR – Applied Biostatistics with R
Base course. Full analytical workflow for health research: R and data manipulation, descriptive statistics and visualization, inference and hypothesis testing, linear and logistic regression, survival analysis, and missing data and multiple imputation. No statistics or programming background required.
ML4HOR – Machine Learning for Health Outcomes with R
Advanced course. Supervised learning from classic models to boosting and neural networks, unsupervised learning and clustering for patient phenotyping, tuning and model selection, evaluation and validation, interpretability, and clinical usefulness. Agentic and AI-assisted workflows are covered in the companion course AIDSR.
AIDSR – Agentic & AI-assisted Data Science with R
Companion course to ML4HOR. Driving a reproducible analysis and ML pipeline with a command-line coding agent under version control, and using large language models for structured extraction and text classification in health research, with evaluation against a gold standard and explicit guardrails.
FAQ
Can I take just one course? Yes, each course is self-contained and registered and paid separately.
Do I need to know R already? No, not for BIOSTATR. ML4HOR and AIDSR assume the level of R covered in BIOSTATR, and AIDSR also builds on ML4HOR.
What language is it taught in? French, with English for statistical and technical terms.
